That is sad new...I am sorry to hear about General. That is sad news.

Things here are going well. I did a speed work out yesterday that kicked my butt. I am actually getting a little faster, but man...I was in rough shape after the workout. I am supposed to be running right now, but there is a raging thunderstorm going on right now. So I decided that I would write about running instead of actually doing it. Do you think that counts in my training?

My family is coming to visit this weekend. I am excited to show them around town. I am planning a nice home cooked dinner on Friday night. We will have Greek Salads, grilled portabello mushrooms that have been marinated and grilled red peppers on a sandwich with homemade pesto. We will have ice cream with blueberries for desert. I haven't planned out the rest of the weekend yet, but I am working on it.

I also have a long and short run I have to get in this weekend. I think that I will get up really early to run so that it doesn't take up too much time in the day. I have to run 4 miles on Saturday and 9 miles on Sunday. My mom wants to go to the beach this weekend and I think that jumping in the lake after a 9 mile run sounds like a great idea.

Well, it sounds like your summer is going well and you are enjoying to foods of the season. We cannot wait to see you in October.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
