blue skies beckon while winds push me home
but I keep walking, springing forward, toward
the lake, turbulent waters ebbing and flowing.
in the meadow, branches of bushes blush, bend.
I'm immersed in "This American Life," a one act
investigation of lives altered by hidden illness,
drawn forward and inward, the ache of life and
the sting of death.
